    Yum. Yum. Yum.

I originally found out about this restaurant because of 'Dining on a Dine' on YouTube (RIP to the show). I ate here two years ago for the first time, fell in love, and have been visiting ever since.

I live in California and we have a lot of Indian food out here, but nobody makes roti! So every time I'm in Toronto, this is my chance to grab this beautiful, warm, delicious bundle of love.

I've had the butter chicken and the chicken korma roti. I've also had some of the fried veggie pakora that were featured in their glass display. Everything is well seasoned and the spice levels here are spot on. I typically go for a medium in spice and that is enough to get me sweating and sniffling.

Portions here are great as well. There was one time that I ordered two rotis in one sitting and that was a great mistake on my part, just because it took me a while to even finish just one of them.

Fingers crossed for more work trips in TO so I can come back and try all the other flavors!

Been wanting to come here for years but hadn't because they are not open on weekends. Finally made the trek with a friend last week and I thought the food was good, but I was kind of disappointed.

Mainly I was disappointed because I didn't realize the rotis don't contain rice - I'm ALL about smothering my curries in rice, so that made me sad. It was also rather pricey - but it tasted good. (I had a mild butter chicken roti.)

    Pros:
    *good flavour
*very fresh - my roti was made to order
*had a fair amount of chicken in my roti
    *run by the nicest people

    Cons:
    *no rice in the roti
*contained chicken breast and I prefer dark meat
    *kind of pricey
*not the greatest ambience but then again, that's not what people go there for

I wouldn't be averse to returning and getting a curry over rice takeout.

I grew up with Indian food when I lived back up in Scarborough so I'm assuming I know a little about Indian food.

I got the butter chicken roti and it was bomb. Very flavourful and it's not short of chicken and potatoes (which some are). Although it might look small, it was a good size to keep myself satisfied.

Usually people order takeout because there's only three tables and there's multiple places to sit outside to eat at this lovely food. In terms of the ambience of the place, I don't think you should expect much because it seems like an immigrant run store that focuses more on the food. Service is fast and cashier is super nice.

Downside of this place is that it only takes debit and cash, and the prices are kind of steep in comparison to prices elsewhere. I guess we have to pay a premium on location. I paid approximately $14.50 for the roti.

Overall, would come again if I'm craving Indian food.

A wonderful hole-in-a-wall local spot that cranks out delicious roti. The price is good, the food is authentic and the owner (who usually is at the register) is funny. There are only three tables in the small space, so if the weather cooperates, I would recommend grabbing take out and make a brisk walk down the street to Trinity-Bellwoods Park for an impromptu picnic.

I had the lamb roti on mild spice level and it was wonderful. The roti was piping hot even after a 10 minute walk and each bite was full of flavor. Admittedly, it's a heavy starch-based meal so I could only finish half of the roti and then promptly wanted to take a nap. The flavors are even better the next day, even though the roti got a little too soft.

    Come check this place out!

This is pretty much the benchmark for good indian Roti in the city, i compare all roti to this one, not many stand up. The place doesn't look the greatest but the food that comes out of that kitchen is fantastic, i just love their Roti, their saag paneer is just fantastic, the roti is freshly made per order and is delicious. Be Careful choosing your spice level too, "hot" is nuclear.. Can't go wrong here, service is slow and it;s often busy, but worth the wait, forget about eating in, it's pretty much take out only.
